FONDATION FESTIVAL SUR LE NIGER

The Foundation Festival sur le Niger was created in August 2009 with the mission to capitalize and perpetuate the achievements of the Festival sur le Niger by contributing more to the promotion of African and local culture, to the safeguarding of heritage, to the promotion of the local economy of the region, to the structuring of the cultural sector, to cultural production and to the decentralization of cultural life. It is an initiative of the organizers of the Festival sur le Niger and several cultural and tourist actors of Segou.
